Tour Itinerary
On arrival, pick up from Amritsar, check in to the hotel, and refresh yourself. Leave for the local sightseeing of Amritsar, starting with the Holy Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, and enjoy a free feast (Langar) in the community kitchen of Gurudwara. Also, visit Jallianwala Bagh, pay homage to the martyrs, and learn more facts about the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Late afternoon drive to the famous Wagah Border and enjoy the India-Pakistan Parade Ceremony. In the evening, while returning back to hotel, explore the local market of Amritsar, famous for amritsari food and shopping. Night stay in Amritsar.
After breakfast, check out and leave for Dalhousie. On arrival, check into the hotel, refresh, and get ready for Dalhousie sightseeing by visiting the picturesque Panchpula Waterfalls, which covers the enchanting Satdhara Falls. Also visit the churches of St. John’s and witness the marvellous architecture in the grasslands. Conclude the day by taking a leisurely walk through Mall Road for some shopping and refreshments. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
After breakfast, today visit Khajjiar, known as the Mini Switzerland of India. On the way to Khajjiar, take a stop at a few sightseeing points. In Khjjiar, enjoy the lush green meadows, the beautiful Khajjiar Lake, and the ancient Khajji Nag Temple. Also, you can take part in adventure activities like paragliding and zorbing, making it a thrilling experience altogether. Later, return to Dalhousie and stay a night in hotel.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive straight to another beautiful destination, Dharamshala. On arrival, check in to the hotel and refresh yourself. Later, visit Bhagsunag Temple, one of the ancient temples in the area, along with the beautiful Bhagsunag Waterfall. Return and stay overnight.
After breakfast gear-up for Dharamshala sighseeing visit McLeod Ganj, Cricket Stadium, Dal Lake and spend some time at Naddi Village, a beautiful spot in the serene seatings of the Himalayas, and explore the local Tibetan market famous for Tibetan handicrafts, artefacts, traditional wear, and delicious street food. Return back to hotel and overnight stay at Dharamshala.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, check out of the Dharamshala hotel. Start driving back to Amritsar. On arrival, drop in Amritsar.
